IHBI exists to make the physics of life accessible, connected, and useful to experienced practitioners.

We bring together molecular biophysics, magnetobiology, biological timing, biomechanics, environmental perspectives, and advanced theoretical inquiry. Our focus is disciplined learning: examining the evidence, understanding its limits, and developing practical competence.

Every executive program includes a practical component. Our teaching encourages thoughtful clinical reasoning, clear professional boundaries, and standards of care.

Dr. Alberto Garoli

Co-founder · Faculty

Dr. Alberto Garoli works across integrative health, biophysical research, and practitioner education. His professional interests include magnetobiology, biological rhythms, biotypology, and the relationship between physical processes and human function.

His work spans PhysioMED, Aurora Nutriceutics & Laboratory, and educational initiatives in integrative health. He brings an international perspective to the study and practical application of human biophysics.

Ann Shivas, D.O., M.T.

Co-founder · Faculty

Ann Shivas, D.O., M.T. is a Canadian manual osteopath, educator, and former professional athlete with more than a decade of clinical experience. Her work has included supporting Cirque du Soleil athletes and mentoring practitioners.

She is registered with RITMA and is a member in good standing.

With a Master of Teaching and experience in curriculum development, she brings a practical, learner-centered approach to executive education. Her focus is connecting scientific concepts with hands-on learning, professional competence, and thoughtful care.

Our first Level 1 ICR Practitioner Certification program is planned for Collingwood, Ontario, on the first weekend of June 2027. The pathway continues with Level 2 in Italy in September 2027.

Certification is subject to successful completion of program requirements. Practitioners should check directly with their professional college or association regarding recognition toward their professional development requirements.
